Updates
ACADIA COUNCIL
The
fashion Show this year will be on May 16 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at
the Jordan Pond House. Tickets are $15. each.
The
combined Acadia Council and Hancock Washington Board REALTOR® OF
THE YEAR meeting will be held on June 19 at the Lucerne Inn. The
meeting will begin at 11:30 for registration and socializing, with
a buffet available at noon. The speaker will be Linda Gifford, MAR
Legal Counsel.

MID-COAST COUNCIL
The
next Membership Meeting May 1 at noon at the Waldo County Tech

annual REALTOR® OF THE YEAR meeting will be held on June 19.
COASTAL MOUNTAIN COUNCIL
The
next membership meeting will be the REALTOR® OF THE YEAR luncheon
on June 12 at noon at the Whitehall Inn.
The guest speaker will be Linda Gifford, MAR Legal Counsel.
The
REALTORS® Giving Back Fundraiser Dance will be held on Saturday,
September 20 at the Rockland Elks Club with proceeds to go to
Habitat For Humanity. The Committee would appreciate volunteers to
help with the dance and possibly raffles. If you are interested
please contact Mary Bumiller or Annie Kassler.
ST. GEORGE RIVER COUNCIL
The
annual REALTOR® OF THE YEAR meeting will be held on June 12,

OF THE YEAR
It’s
time to submit nominations for the 2008 REALTOR® OF THE YEAR.
Each Council will choose one person who has made a
difference in the local REALTOR® organization during the past
year. This is a very prestigious award, not a popularity contest.
The person chosen to represent your Council at the Maine
Association Convention should have been active in the activities
of the board, and should have a reputation of honesty and
integrity. Service to the Maine Association, attendance at any
National Association meetings, and service to the community are
also considered, but local board activity is the most important
consideration in choosing the REALTOR® Of The Year. The award can
be presented to the same person more than once.
Please take the time to fill out a nomination form
(attachment) and send it in.
